Hmmm, try to close your eyes and try and make the sounds into a shape with colour inside your head. I thought it was eerie, but nice in a way. Thought provoking :P This is sooo weeeeirrrrddd :D

No one will ever accuse you of sophisticated criticism, but at least you contributed something to the discussion.

Come on - lets hear some laughter around here! I'm amused by the fact that you take my satirical comments soo-ooo se-erio-ously! Don't you realize I'm taking off on all of the bluff about modern shit so many critics write, trying to prove to us that not only is the king not naked, but anybody who dares to think otherwise is an idiot (with a d...)?

the joke didn't come across. now, with your explanation, your comment is justly appreciated as mockery.

Well, good...

Everything changes. The thing about "New Music" is that it's not music for enjoyment in the way that Romantic or Classical music was. What people call "Art Music" now occupies a very different space in society. "New Music" in my experience is for musicians rather than lay folk, the supposed intellectual elite can tag along if they want.
A better example of the king's new clothes might be the work of Philip Glass. At the end of the day yuppies do not listen to Stockhausen.

Once again, the good ol' statement of Mister Orlofsky in Fledermaus: Chacun à son gout!
P. S.: I'm a musician myself, and while listening to this piece, as I'm doing this very moment, I just can't make out who exactly this was written for. I always have the impression of somebody experimenting, kind of in the sense of: "Let's see what meal comes out if I combine apples, onions, salted anchovies, marzipan, tomatoes and figs!"

Valid observations but be prepared to remain misunderstood behind the opacity of your terminology. Unless it's proud of being a cloistered discipline, a school of thought should use an accessible vocabulary to win over adherents.
