Love it!! i grew up on Jimmy Cliff and this movie. Not bragging but my uncle has a bit part in the film. Glad Jimmy cliff is getting Respect...he is a true genius and had much to do with putting JA on the map! Respect

Yeah, i just saw the movie. Very sad what these world powers (US and such) are doing to these so called "third world countries". They should all be tried for crimes against humanity. These world powers are stripping these lands of their natural resources, outsourcing their billion dollar companies to the poor and paying them $1.00 an hour. Disgusting animals. They have no morality or sympathy, all they care about is money. Lets see where money will get them in the after life when they r burning

My parents have all Jimmy's albums and according to this reggae trivia he founded Bob Marley by introducing him to his first producer .But anyone who has not seen The harder they come needs to check it out.

Wonderful film - I'd love to see it again. Just compare Jimmy Cliff to some of the filth put out now - to make money for rich white men - and you'll see that popular music is sliding downhill.
