Bob Dylan - Like A Rolling Stone 1966

Back

Phenomenal 1966 performance of Like A Rolling Stone in City Hall, Newcastle (props to Country Jim). Dylan is absolutely manic, a must-watch.

He used to play guitar all the time, nowadays hes has a bad back which is why he usually plays the piano instead.

i have always wondered...does bob even play the guitar during many of his performances with a full band? Not dissing him..i love the guy, hes made some of my fav music, hands down..hes fantastic..But i am curious, this video clearly shows him letting go of the guitar at random, fumbling chords, etc, many of his live full band videos show the same thing...did they just have him turned down? did he just hold the guitar for show? just curious to hear peoples take on it

I've never seen and heard such truth, passion, and feeling in a man before.

LOL, what a fucking moron. You could do what Dylan's done? Right, your an idiot. His voice is unique. Would you rather hear classics like this or fucking Kelly Clarkson? lmao what an idiot

it's harder than it sounds... Dylan's voice is gruff, but he's rarely off-key. I kind of like the rough, raspy quality to it, it seems more real than all the packaged up, plastic-wrapped pop musicians we've grown so used to...

HOW DOES IT FEEL!!!!

Dylan's true fans hated this rendition. They felt like he had sold out to the rock industry and they wanted nothing to do with it. No one really liked this at the time, now a days it is accepted, but back then, it most definitely was not.

haha he doesn't have much of a voice, really... but he's got this style that makes it even better that way somehow. ahh i love it. jim morrison wasn't a fantastic singer, but it was just how he sang things. i'd rather listen to either of these two than a lot of really good, well trained singers.
