I thought I was the only one who noticed her saying it! Lol, I thought it was incredibly sweet and loving for him to refer to her as his 'angel'.

Language evolves. Everybody plays a part, even you change language everytime you open your stupid mouth there is a possibility that you'll influence people either consciously or subconsciously. You're completely incorrect about cavemen too. Without language evolution, we'd still be grunting and moaning like the cavemen used to.

If it wasn't for emcee's like: Jay Z; Nas; Eminem; Biggie(RIP)and Tupac(RIP) rap would be dead. They have carried it on their shoulders for years now. I'm not talking about the underground though, thats completely different. My advice is just to enjoy whoever you listen to and let time tell who is best.

You need to start taking your own advice. Your writing isn't perfect. If people want to talk like that, let them. You also can't predict shit like we would devolve back to cave men. Get your shit straight kid.
