Christmas with Handel, Messiah, Margaret Maye singing.Written by George Frideric Handel,it is his one of the most famous creations and is among the most popular works in the Western choral literature. In September 1741, George Frederick Handel (1685-1759) sat down to begin work on a new composition. Just 24 days later, he had finished what some consider the greatest musical work of all time. Handel was German by birth, but had spent many years in Italy, where he had learned to write operas. By 1738 he already had about 40 to his name. He settled in London, and soon became England's most popular and successful composer. O thou that tellest good Tidings to Zion, get thee up into the high Mountain: O thou that tellest good Tidings to Jerusalem, lift up thy Voice with Strength; lift it up, be not afraid: Say unto the Cities of Judah, Behold your God. O thou that tellest good Tidings to Zion, Arise, shine, for thy Light is come, and the Glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. (Isaiah 40:9; Isaiah 60:1) Susan Boyle wowed the judges with her performance on Britains Got Talent 2009, singing I dreamed a dream from Les Miserables and then wowed them again in the 1st semi final singing Memory from Cats..Jamie Pugh also got the judges praise on season 3 episode 4 not to leave out Greg Pritchard in episode 5 and naturally Sue Son. Michael Hirte on Das Supertalent 2008 playing I believe Erstausstrahlung (ava Maria)was amazing.As well on Mam Talent finals! Mateusz Ziłko looked good. The 3 Polish girls Alizma on america got talent 2009 are amazing. It will be interesting to see how Barbara Padilla does on america got talent as she did great at her Audition in Houston Show #6 America's Got Talent 2009 season 4 and what about those Texas Tenors.
